About the Event

We welcome you along to our very first Artist Talk at The Alexander Cafe in association with Vunilagi Vou.  

Exhibiting screen artist and one of our very own PISA Komiti Co-founding member, Jeremiah Tauamiti will discuss his visual artwork "Put Some Respect on My Name", with curator and fellow PISA member Ema Tavola from Vunilagi Vou, at The Alexander Café where the work is currently on show until 24 July 2021.  The Creative NZ funded project demonstrates the ways screen artists can story tell across multiple disciplines, including exhibition making and the visual arts. Hear about the project’s inspiration and the driving force, the nine contributing stories and the creative collaborations.  This artist talk is open to PISA members and the community; it is a free and family friendly event, light refreshments and good coffee will be available.
