Pacific Islands Screen Artists who are eager to support the future of Pacific stories on screen

WHAT SORT OF EVENTS WILL PISA RUN?

The following Events have been scheduled for 2020/2021 with more to be announced:

  • Panel Discussions with Directors and Actors 

  • Technical Labs in cinematography, editing and creative writing

  • Workshops on how to make a feature film, distribution and how it works, documentary film-making

  • Networking with PISA members and/or guests to strengthen our screen village

  • Getting the 'low down' straight from the source of NZ funding and broadcasting through discussions with TVNZ, New Zealand Film Commission, NZ on Air and Creative NZ

PISA Events will be exclusive to PISA members only, and will be offered to outside members where applicable.

Our Events will primarily take place in Auckland (and where possible in other regions) or streamed/recorded online.

PISA members are encouraged to suggest the kinds of programmes they would like to see.

PISA is committed to ensuring our outreach, and support filters back to our Mother islands in the Pacific.
